After a very long period of silence caused by serious involvement in family matters we're back with some great news. Not only you can see something new from a painter you might have easily forgotten, not only you can see some of our popular painters take on a model of a new manufacturer. You also get to see a lot of pictures. You get to see new works from several painters. You will see single models, you will see dioramas, you will see vehicles, you will see units and you will see armies! So let's rock! You could have forgotten that there is such a painter as Hacket. But he is still here and he even presents his latest finished model: the Last Stand diorama, depicting... well, I won't spoil the surprise for you. Then there is Slawol with this Gatling Cannon painted for MaxMini - the manufacturer. You know what to expect from Slawol: weathering, dirt, and approach taken from military modelling.Ana also painted a model from a manufacturer that she's never painted before: Privateer Press. The model is the Epic Thagrosh - Messiah of Everblight. Obviously inspired by the official artwork, but not directly copied. Check the photos to appreciate all the fine details added to the model.Kacpero added another model for the collection of Red Scorpions Space Marines characters he was painting for several last months. This time it's Commander Culln of the Red Scorpions. And that's not the end of his Red Scorpions project yet!Gildor painted two models for Warhammer 40.000 and both are terminators. One is an Ultramarine Terminator, and the other is a Chaos Space Marines Terminator Lord. Do you think his painting improved since the previous paintjobs?Nameless started a new gallery for his Kir-Danaar Eldar army, which is the subject of his Tale of Gamers project. Now you can see a Eldar Farseer with a squad of Eldar Guardians, Eldar Vyper and Eldar Jetbikes in that album. Hopefully more is still to come!Kacper_gda added three new items to his gallery: a unit of Skaven Censer Bearers, Ogre Kingdoms Gorger, and a Dark Elf Hydra. It must be said that he keeps his usual quality on his paintjobs...And now let's move to the largest update in today's news: Wood Elves by Rzymek. It's a big part of an army of Wood Elves, but still not the complete thing. Despite this, it's still an impressive achievement, as the miniatures are really a nice sight. Let's start with everybody's favorites, the Wardancers, and then move on to the other units in the army: Wood Elf Glade Guards, Waywatchers, Wood Elf Hero on Great Eagle, Wood Elf mounted characters, Wood Elf Glade Riders, Dryads led by Drycha, Treeman, Treekin, Warhawk Riders, some more Warhawk Riders, Lord on Great Stag and two Wood Elf Standard Bearers. In addition to these miniatures he also painted these Warhammer Quest characters: a Dark Elf Witch and an Empire Wizard. And remember these are still not all the Wood Elves! The last thing in today's news is a bit of a curiosity. It's a small Space Marines force painted with very strict guidelines imposed by the owner. Guidelines, which in fact were limitations, because they also limited the quality of these models. They were supposed to be "black drybrushed with metal", but Rzymek decided he'd do a bit more anyway. So here is an example of the most basic Space Marine paintjobs by Rzymek: Space Marines Terminators and a Space Marines squad, two Space Marines characters and a Dreadnought. Can you see the difference between these and his other regimental paintjobs? Well, it's difficult not to see Take care and stay tuned for more news! |

Some time passed and we've got two more Tales finished. What "Tales"? We mean "Tales of Gamers" - the special project run by a few of our users. If you want to learn more about it check the Tale of Gamers rules. You've probably seen the Mordheim Tomb Kings by sea.man already, but now Nameless managed to finish his Kir Danaar Craftworld Eldar and Arctica completed painting his excellent Ork Pirate Crew. All the finished projects are posted to the Tale of Gamers gallery and additional pictures (definitely worth seeing!) are posted in the respective threads of each project. In the meantime several new participants joined the fun! Now you can check more projects than before, including: Necrons a.k.a. Flying Trash by Slawol, Iron Warriors by Loler, Biel Tan Eldar by Redav, Yellow Fists by Pandadosmares, Necromunda Plague Gang by Demi_morgana, Cryx Warband by ToMaZ and Battle of Lundy's Lane by Coyote.Who's going to complete his project and who's going to fail? Why don't you show your support and cheer for the participants in their threads? And maybe you would like to participate too? Why should you? Well, to motivate yourself, to have fun, and to become a world-famous celebrity OK, we're not 100% serious about it, but why shouldn't you give it a try. It doesn't take any special skills to do it - tabletop quality painting is definitely enough to become another Tale of Gamers painter! And the satisfaction and a little internet fame will be very rewarding for sure |

Hello all. Long periods of silence between our news seem to become a kind of tradition here, so let's not waste time for introductions and move on to new miniatures in our galleries:Let us start with Illusionrip's Uncle Meat - miniature sculpted by JAG for the new range of miniatures (coming soon). Different approach to painting blood was presented by Flameon on his Konrad von Carstein. He also painted a Demon Prince of Chaos, after which he admitted big models are not his kind of thing...Large models never discouraged Demi_morgana, but this time the models he presents are not that big. There is a Champion of Nurgle, Chaos Sorcerer of Nurgle and an Aberration. Another painter who likes dirtier and not not too colorful painting is Slawol. His gallery was updated with pictures of a Sigmarite Warrior Priest and Grombrindal, the White Dwarf. Szary presents us two new paintjobs: Eltharion and a Dark Elf Lord - both pretty nice.Lothar surprised us with new pictures in his gallery. Unfortunately small pictures don't allow us to enjoy detailed photos of this Death Jester, but the other miniatures: Lord of Change, Knights of Nurgle and their Mounted Champion of Nurgle can be seen better!Rzymek added a nice bunch of lizardmen to his gallery, including this Saurus Oldblood, Kroxigor, Skink Priest, Salamander, Skinks, Skink Chief and Skink Chief with blowpipe. A whole army of such models must look really cool :) Then there's Kacper_gda, who shows two new paintjobs: Sorcerer of Chaos and an Ogre Butcher.Ana painted three new miniatures: dismounted version of Layla bint Suraya (mounted version to follow), Chrys, Dragon Tamer and a River Dragon as a counterpart model for her.Nameless keeps taking better pictures of his miniatures, which allows us to see and appreciate his works better! This time he added a new and better picture of his Dwarf Thunderlord and three new paintjobs: Lilith, Crypt Bat and Dodgy Drexel. And the last painter featured in this update is Kacpero with his two latest paintjobs: Red Scorpions Space Marines Chaplain and a Chaos Lord from Avatars of War.That's all for now. I just wonder how much time will pass before the next update... |

Another week passed, but I am doing my best to be able to say: this time I managed to post the news on the planned time! So this time it's Sunday and here we are with some news from our galleries.Let us start with Illusionrip and his new passion: garage kits. You can see yet another garage kit painted by him, almost exclusively with an airbrush. This thing is big...But we've got many smaller minatures, too! For example Irkuck painted an excellent squad of Ultramarines Space Marines: Marneus Calgar with Retinue. If you want to see more photos of these nice miniatures, just check these photos of Marneus Calgar, his Chaplain, Company Standard Bearer, Librarian, first Terminator, second Terminator, third Terminator, fourth Terminator and finally the last Terminator. And if you still want to see more new paintjobs by Irkuck, see his version of a Night Lords Chaos Space Marine. Maybe there will be more of them one day?Another prolific painter, Demi_morgana, experimented with a new way of taking photos. Thanks to this you can now see a new photo of his old paintjob on this Scavvy Boss and a better photo of the Mid-Nor Scourge Bearer. But it doesn't mean there are no new paintjobs in his gallery. There's a nice group of Mid-Nor Hydra Warriors and for single photos of these miniatures check these out: Here's the first Hydra Warrior, the second Hydra Warrior and finally the last Mid-Nor Dwarf from the group. Pretty cool, aren't they?Let's move on to Slawol's gallery and yet another miniature in his dirty and weathered style: the Emperor's Champion. But if you would like to know if he hasn't forgotten how to paint cleaner miniatures - here's the proof: this Tir-Na-Bor One-Eyed Pilgrim is much cleaner and brighter than the Space Marine. But which style appeals to you more? And now for something more unusual: Two rarely updated galleries finally received some updates! Check this Araqsalil the Skinner by Kuczek and Space Marines Veteran by Mahon out! You never know how much time passes before you see anything new from these painters ;)The last thing in this update is Ana's repainted version of Hasslefree Miniatures' Kat. She painted the model first 4 years ago, and now wanted to improve the paintjob and make it more eyecatching. Hopefully you like the result. I do...Thanks for your attention and see you here soon |

As late as only I can make it, here is another update about our galleries:Let us start with Rzymek, who added photos of Bretonnian Grail Knights and Questing Knights, Wood Elf Treeman, Eagles and a Great Eagle, and a Dwarf Gyrocopter. Then there's Kacper_gda and his gallery updated with photos of Karanak and Flesh Hounds of Khorne.Lemartes showed his latest Eldar Autarch, and Slawol posted a photo of his Dragon Rune Orc.Szczurek posted a photo of his entry for the 3rd CofC Miniature Exchange: the Imperial Guard Sniper, and so did Szary with his entry: Kasrkin Sergeant Lemartes.Nameless painted Thunderlord - dwarf with an attitude from Avatars of War, and three Warmachine miniatures: Red Thrall, Purple Thrall and Green Thrall.Illusionrip reposted photos of his paintjob on this garage kit, but also added this nice Infinity Yuan Yuan diorama and a closeup of Yuan Yuan, which was awarded in the Infinity Painting Competition organized by Wargamer.pl.And the last painter in this update is Demi_morgana, who finished the squad of Death Guard Terminators of Nurgle, and posted photos of the remaining squaddies: one Death Guard Terminator, another Terminator of Nurgle and this Terminator. But he's not only painting Nurgle stuff, and this Mid-Nor Scourge Bearer and "Red Hook" prove it!Enjoy! |
